In the changing and crossing over of the West towards the East, houses are torn down and replaced by new ones or effusively renewed. Some remain temporarily in limbo. These unspaces, walked over by the flow of time, awaken my curiosity. For me, they, not the representative sites of architects and tourists, are the typical spaces of Berlin; the still soul of the city.
